Hello, I am Michael Gerard Mele, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and primary Therapist/ Counselor at The Clearpath Counseling and Creative Wellness Studio located in Eastsound, Washington on Beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands. In my private practice I work with individuals, couples, families and groups.
I also use this Orcas Island Office/Studio for writing and photography and incorporate my years of Clinical Mental Health training and experience with my love of nature, photography and the arts to continue to help people heal themselves, their relationships and their lives.
I offer telephone consultations and coaching and I am incorporating internet video conferencing as well.
The phone and internet have allowed people in remote locations or distant destinations to access therapy when needed and with whomever they choose. We are no longer limited by geography or personal availability. There are indeed some instances and cases in which only face-to-face counseling is appropriate, yet that can be determined within the initial evaluation session and this is continually monitored throughout treatment.
I incorporate and offer therapeutic retreats into my practice and encourage people to join me in a therapeutic journey to the Northwest.
